7/5/18 Back to it!

I am back from my June long break from blogging. Not only did I not post on my blog, I didn't add to my Instagram and I didn't update or even renew my Etsy listings. I did check out Facebook on my tablet and "like" a few things, but otherwise I was a technology hermit- I have to say it was pretty nice. I might do it every June, possibly more often! Now that my break is over I am back and here to show what I beaded while I was on my tech vacation (of course I beaded, I just didn't blog about it ;)

The first thing I made in June was this gift for my friend who was nice enough to host my birthday party. We invaded her house and she got a rick rack bracelet! I think it was a fair deal.

Bead honesty- I loved her bracelet so much I had to make a rainbow one that I loved more for myself so that I could bare to part with hers. That is the excuse I made and I am sticking to it! Both of these bracelets were cast from the pod I made while exploring CGB! I love how quickly they work up by casting off a pod!

Rainbow- who would have guessed it- and yes, both of these are made from Luminous Delicas, which are crazy fun and glow under blacklight!

Along with these two bracelets I made a few pairs of 3d oval earrings, two of which match my rainbow bracelet, and the others which have a "patriotic" red, white, and blue theme for the 4th of July.

The Luminous ovals are really bright and fun under blacklight!

Along with beading a few things, I figured I would spend part of my month long break making a plan for the rest of my weekly blog posts- that didn't happen. I don't even have a plan for next week- stay tuned, my plan for next week is to make a plan that covers at minimum the rest of July and to bead something. Wish me luck.
