5/10/18 Warped & Twisted Earrings!

After weeks of exploration of CGB I ended up making a pair of smaller warped and twisted squares and made them into some all gold earrings for my mom for her Birthday. I liked hers so much that I spent this week making more!

This week I took the same idea I used to make her earrings and made 3 pairs! Each warped square has an added wing on each side. Every wing is twisted in the same direction to create the twisted shape.

The first ones remind me of Flamingos in water. The color of them is a perfect Flamingo. The second pair I made way out of my comfort zone on purpose. I made them from yellow and orange, the two colors that I never use. The last pair is made in a luminous rainbow! I couldn't resist trying these with Luminous Delicas.

Both the "Flamingos" and the rainbow pair glow under blacklight! I have decided after wearing them all week that the rainbow pair will be mine :) I am going to eventually list both of the other pairs in my Etsy shop. If you love the flamingos and have to make them your own right now, feel free to get in touch with me ;)

Next week, and for the rest of the month of May, I am going to make beaded beads! I have unused Rizo beads that want to be earrings, I have some "kits" that I made myself to make focal beaded beads that I haven't started, and I want to (try to) make Gwen Fisher's Truncated Icosidodecahedron or "Crater Moon" beaded bead from her blog.
Beaded beads always take time, and for me a little motivation and inspiration, so I won't really be planning each week, but I know I have until the 31st to beaded bead!
