3/8/18 CGB Exploration week #1

This week I started exploring all of the great beading info available from Contemporary Geometric Beadwork and their free pattern library!

Here is a small pair of hypar (warped square) earrings that I made using a different color bead for every row, starting and ending with the same color.

I made a Tri-Wing Ring which only fits my pinky finger. I would need to increase the size if I were to make one I could wear!

Because I couldn't practically wear it as a ring, I decided to play a bit and make one side have a loop so that the triangle could be worn as a pendant.
Before anyone asks, I don't know the colors in this ring. When I recently sorted through my Delicas, these were the colors that either had no number, or were clearly not numbered right. I do know that purple is not colorfast and eventually rubs off to be a sort of blue color.

Finally for this week, I have a good start on my first double layered Rick-Rack bracelet started with a Mraw band!
I am going to try to add as many rows as I can as long as it still fits over my hand!

Next week I will be finishing the Rick-Rack bracelet and possibly starting something new. The bracelet is my only goal as it does take some time to make- but is so far totally worth it and completely doable!
