3/29/18 CGB Exploration week #4

This week I made a shiny galvanized baby Kaleidocycle that I will be wearing as a pendant. I did break one bead in the final connecting process, but in general I am happy with it and will wear it (and play with it) with pride.

Three of the colors are "old" Delicas, the kind where the color rubs off of them and they were expensive for something not durable or wearable. I bought them in the days before Duracoats, permanent finishes and knowing better!

Something awesome happened between last week when I posted my blog and this blog posting. Contemporary Geometric Beadwork posted (seven times!!!) about an amazing thing. The "podcast bead!" Here is the one I made before I add anything else to it.

I am going to add the beads for another Rick Rack bracelet and explode it off! I am going to devote next week also to my CGB explorations. I didn't expect to have this many weeks, but I have to say the timing of the new Podcast Bead-a-Long is great. If you don't know about it- click on over and check it out!
