2016 Project: Beaded bead #3

Bead #3 is a tribute to the Carolina Panthers! It was a great season and we made it all the way to the SuperBowl! The bead is blue, black and gold for Superbowl 50.

Here it is next to a quarter for some size reference:

The bead is made using one unit of cubic right angle weave (CRAW). It is made with 6mm glass beads and embellished with size 11 seed beads and 3mm rounds. I took a few pictures as I made it to give a general idea of how it is made.
I don't know if there is a tutorial online on how to make this kind of bead, but it is pretty simple. I didn't show the exact path I used to embellish it because I  made it up as I went. I had fun with this bead, I might have to make a few more.

One unit of Craw with blue beads in the middle

I added seed beads along the edges- then embellished off of those beads.

23 beads to go!

My remaining deadlines are:

Winter dates: (2 left) 2/25, 3/10

Spring dates: (7 beads) 3/24, 4/7, 4/21, 5/5, 5/19, 6/2, 6/16

Summer dates: (6 beads) 6/30, 7/14, 7/28, 8/11, 8/25, 9/8

Fall dates: (7 beads) 9/22, 10/6, 10/20, 11/3, 11/17, 12/1, 12/15

The last bead will be "due" on 12/29!

Thanks for reading and Happy Beading! -Beth
